This tier is ideal for organizations new to TAK, those needing a temporary solution for an event, or those wanting to try TAK before deciding if it’s the right tool for their mission.

Secure Cloud Hosting

  • Platform: AWS GovCloud
  • Reliability: 99.5% uptime
  • Encryption: TLS with X.509 certificates; data encrypted at rest and in transit 
  • Recovery: SEV1 recovery time objective < 4 hours
  • Retention: Rolling 90-day data retention (syncs & packages)
  • Backups: Automated every 24 hours
  • Authorization: RTX BBN ATO in progress

  • Team collaboration: Up to 5 channels per organization 
  • Federation: One active group at a time, up to one major change per week (requires TAK Server or Fed Hub 5.2+ with group management)

  • Additional hardware: Limited certificates for non-TAK devices available on request
